Saturday 30th July – Sunday 7th August 2011
Wells Carnival Week will soon be here. It’s an amazing fun packed week bringing together the residents and holiday makers, all looking forward to a busy week, full of activities and family entertainment. The plans for this year can be viewed at www.wellscarnival.co.uk.
Some of the visitors that have already enjoyed Wells this year, making the best of the fantastic start to the season, will have enjoyed last year’s Carnival week, had a great time and return to enjoy and see more of this glorious town. Many visitors return year after year. Some come through advertising or recommendation, and some come by chance, but after experiencing Wells Carnival, many will come again and again.
Every year the organisers aim for Wells Carnival to become bigger and more successful, providing a variety of activities and entertainment for residents and holidaymakers. Approximately 10,000 people come to Wells during the week The Carnival, which is run entirely by a voluntary committee, promotes the town and brings visitors to the area. It also raises funds for local good causes and community projects.
