Great Norfolk Restaurants
Recommendations from the heart!
Whilst visiting Norfolk be sure to try out some of these highly recommended restaurants.
Norfolk Restaurants with a very high recommendation...
1. Crofters Restaurant, Sheringham
Sensationally delicious food. Be sure to book in advance. Being such a popular restaurant, Crofters doesn't even have a website. It doesn't need one. Telephone 01263 822151. If you're staying anywhere close to Sheringham, you'd be daft not to try this amazing food experience (...but be sure to book ahead).
Now owned and run by Kiwi Master (and TV) Chef, Chris Coubrough. Following an extensive renovation, The Kings Head has now re-opened to offer traditional pub/restaurant atmosphere with a homely mix of period features and modern-day comfort. The large beer garden, complete with climbing frame and large 'play' castle, is ideal for keeping youngsters entertained for hours! So whether it is a relaxing drink or an early morning coffee... The Kings Head at Letheringsett has it all.

The Wiveton Bell is situated on the village green and close to the unspoilt salt marshes of the North Norfolk coastline, just two minutes drive or ten minutes walk from Blakeney. Although renowned for its cuisine, The Bell is faithful to its roots as a traditional village pub where people can wander in with walking boots and dogs to enjoy good company as well as fine ales, wine and food.

Certainly one of our own big favourites, The Duke has offered a delicious Sunday Carvery for many years. Under new ownership, their Sunday Carvery continues to be highly recommended and offers excellent value for money. Go for a refreshing walk on the beach afterwards and your Sunday is complete. Visit The Duke of Edinburgh website or telephone 01692 650280.
Or how about good old fashioned fish and chips?
We've eaten far too many fish and chip dinners in Norfolk but of those some stand out, taking special pride in their restaurant and using fresh, high quality produce.

Top quality fish and chips only a short distance from the beach. Eating fish and chips and watching one of the frequently beautiful sunsets at Sheringham is quite heavenly. Telephone 01263 824369
